Customer Review

1.) I've used the program before when it was called your baby can ready and it taught my older daughter to read 8 years ago. She has continued to grow as a reader and it comes easily to her. I was amazed then and hopefully it will work again with my son. But for sure, your baby can read. My daughter showed me that years ago while utilizing this program. We began the program when she was 9 months old. She read to me and my husband her first book before the age of 2 years old...it was "It''s Not Easy Being A Bunny." Good luck to those of you trying to utilize the program. Dr. Titzer's recommendation that children dont watch too much TV while utilizing the program was very helpful for us as well as reading to our infant and pointing to the words as we read. Best.

2.) So I got this after reading all the reviews and had to get one for our son he 13 months old and I must say I'm happy. First it comes with a lot of materials to help your child. Was surprised at all the books and cards it came with, it's worth every penny. When we started he wasn't interested at first but after a week of constantly playing the cd, once he hears the music he rushes down to sit and watch it he now enjoys watching it. I'm so happy seeing him smile each time he watches this. I also like that he can use this for a long time Thank you Amazon.

3.) I purchased this kit for a friend of mines and so far her daughter seems to be adjusting to the program. My friends daughter so far has been speaking in more complete sentences and by the way is only two years old. I have noticed that the program as instructed should be used on a daily basis and takes time for the child and parent to adjust. Great Product.

Customer Review

1.) I have a son who can't talk, but communicates well. He bought a toy dog Max before the movie came out. Now he's not a huge movie watcher, but if it has a fish or a dog in it he'll watch it. I took him to the theater, and he saw the picture of Max the dog. He pointed at it and I told him that's the movie we're going to see. He smiled big. My six year old boy along with every other kid in the theater laughed so hard throughout the whole movie. My son rarely laughs at funny parts of movies, bc he doesn't understand it, but this movie he understood and laughed, and he made me laugh. He was hugging me throughout the whole movie that was his was of saying thank you mommy, I love this movie. His favorite scene that he laughed the hardest at was when Max and the other dog find a sausage factory and are in sausage heaven. Every kid loved that scene. After the movie we had to go to Walmart and he found a talking Max plush toy. He's been carrying him around all over. I took my son to see Zootopia, and half way through he got bored, but my teenage daughters loved it, why? The plot was geared towards grown kids and adults, however Secret life of pets the plot is so simple that kids absolutely love it, and for that I loved it! My kid sat through the whole movie and the credits he didn't want to leave. By the way my teen daughters loved that movie, too. Remember, it's suppose to be a kids movie, not an adult movie, and this one is the kids kid movie! Love it!

2.) The story, characters, action and dialogue are drop-dead HILARIOUS! For those of us who have dog fur babies, so much of the plot and animal behavior rings true. I found myself constantly belly-laughing at the antics of every character. Another win from the studio that gave us the Minions

3.) Doesn't matter the age, this was a cute guilty pleasure movie. There were times were I doubted whether the writers/animators were not on "performance-enhancing" products. I generally don't care too much for Louis C.K.'s style, but I thought he delivered for this one compared to say Parks and Rec. Weenies were a great laugh. I still giggle like an idiot watching that particular part and mini-movie.

Customer Review

1.) gave this a complete 5 star because both the son and I (as well as the other movie-goers -going by their reactions) thoroughly enjoyed it from the beginning to the very end.
Was it predictable? Of course. Its an animation geared towards children (what would you expect?) -but like most of the animation movies of today, there were quite a few 'hidden humor' spots as well which would be completely missed by the younger audience (not unexpected since it is the adults, after all, who are forking over the bread and it doesn't hurt to keep THEM entertained as well). The movie is fairly fast-paced and the animation well done. I'm usually a little apprehensive when I've harbored good expectations from a movie based on clips/previews, but in this case I felt it truly delivered. This one will be added to our library when it (eventually) hits the shelves. Too many people look for a great amount of depth and unpredictability in animation movies -but THAT is a bit unrealistic (no pun intended) -think about it: These things USED to be called CARTOON MOVIES for a reason. They weren't intended to fit that kind of expectation. They ARE intended to be fun -and this movie is just that: FUN.

2.) My 4 year old loves monsters, and Hotel Transylvania is now his favorite. And that is great, because my wife and I really enjoy watching it too! This movie has managed to create funny characters that will appeal to both kids and adults, such as the over-protecting vampire father, the worn-out werewolf father-of-many and the brainless and energetic couple in love.

The pace of the movie is FAST, with almost not a second to breath between one scene or joke and the next one, which makes re-watching the movie same as enjoyable as the first time.

Only side note: do not expect the movie to make a lot of sense, and be prepared for many inconsistencies. I had to put my nerd side to sleep while the vampires were walking in the daylight or looking at the sun (without it burning their eyes). It is a kids movie, so just relax and enjoy!

3.) Loved this movie!! The price was right, it came way sooner than quoted, during Christmas too! That's Amazing.
Now for you true blue movie critics, I will remind you that it is an Adam Sandler movie (not meant to be taken seriously, literally, and please for heavens sake, DO NOT TAKE IT PERSONALLY)
I adored it for the story line that put the sweetest twist on an old tale. My son loved it for the flatulence jokes that almost make him choke he laughs so hard, and I have never seen a 2yr old walk around saying, "I am Dracula bla bla bla"
As a mother that has loved Adam Sandler my whole life, to really see how much of a father he really is, I love it. If you are not a fan of Adam Sandler and gang, or old monster movies, I would pick something else.
